The 2nd stop on the Colorado Triathlon Tour takes us to a picturesque venue that was the hot event of 2014. Steamboat Lake State Park has it all; a swim in the crystal clear waters of Steamboat Lake, a scenic ride through the rolling country side, and a run that takes athletes on the roads and trails of the park.
With amazing views of Hahn's Peak and the surrounding scenery this is one sprint you won't want to miss! Camp 200m from transition or stay at one of the surrounding bed and breakfasts; Steamboat Lake is the mid-Summer getaway you've been looking for.
The Steamboat Lake Sprint is exactly half the distance of the Steamboat Olympic Distance Triathlon that will take place on Aug 16th at Lake Catamount. Whether you're competing in your first ever race, prepping for the Aug 16th Steamboat Triathlon, or earning coveted Colorado Tri Tour points this is the perfect event.
Race is capped at 350 athletes and sold out the past two seasons.
