There is something for everyone - from food and wine tastings, to seminars and cooking demonstrations, to outdoor adventures with food & wine influences, there are tastes and temptations at every turn.

The festivities begin Wednesday with the Farm to Barn Wine Dinner at the beautiful Larson Barn. The celebration continues on Thursday with the Wine on the Mountain Kickoff which includes breath taking views, great wine, delicacies and entertainment.

The Wine Festival will be in full gear throughout the weekend with events that incorporate the Steamboat outdoors such as hiking and biking, as well as painting, farm to table pairing, and much more.

The Stroll of Steamboat Friday night will take patrons on a tour through a variety of downtown restaurants and retailers. Mingle over an assorted selection of wine, spirits, craft beer, and hors d'oeuvres at each stop. Don't miss the Grand Tasting Toast of Steamboat on Saturday. This is the grand finale of the event, with over 500 wines, premium beer, and a variety of parings from local restaurants.

August 6: Farm to Barn Wine Dinner
A Celebration of local food and fine wine! The Steamboat Wine Festival gives a unique spin on the traditional Farm to Table concept bringing to you the Farm To Barn Wine Dinner. This signature event of our non-profit partner, STARS, will feature a dinner menu beautifully crafted from locally and nationally acclaimed Executive Chefs Kate Rench of Café Diva, Jason Salisbury of Mahogany Ridge, and Brian Vaughn of bistro cv. The Colorado-inspired five-course dinner will be served in at the beautiful Larson Barn which sits quaintly in the middle of the Yampa Valley. August 7: Wine & 9 (holes of golf)

August 7: Wine on the Mountain Celebration
Take a breathtaking ride to the top of Mt. Werner where only the best of the best wines will be featured along with impressive culinary feats. This event won't disappoint, as it is a unique chance to spend one-on-one time with your favorite winery, listen to live music, all while enjoying the sunset at the top of the mountain. August 7: Summer Concert Kick-Off Party
The Wine on the Mountain Kick-Off celebration doesn't end after a your ride down the gondola. Your evening is just getting started! We're going to keep the party going with a live concert in gondola square. Break out those high heels, big hair and leg warmers and get ready to dance the night away to the great 80's music of the 6 Million Dollar Band. No, Steve Austin will not be in signing, however they'll heat up your 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon as you Footloose under the stars in Gondola Square. And because no one would pay to see you dance, we're not charging you to listen to the music. This FREE concert runs from 7pm – 9:30. August 9: From Field To The Five Senses
The philosophy of Truett Hurst wineries is to produce wines and packaging that appeal to the reasons people buy wine. As winemaker of such a lofty goal, Virgina Marie Lambrix (Ginny) is a pro at finding sources for wines at a varied price range. She creates friendly priced wines as well as ultra-premium wines of place from the Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys, where you will find VML & Truett Hurst wineries. Recently introduced was the first occasion-specific wrapped bottles – a square wine bottle and the first paper wine bottle (“Paperboy”) in 2013. Ginny is expert in sourcing the right wine for the targeted palate – a trend that winemakers may follow in the future. In this seminar you will taste from VML & Truett Hurst's ultra-premium wines to the Paperboy. Beer + BBQ = Beer-B-Q. Join us at this exciting and dynamic new event at the Steamboat Wine Festival. August 10: It's a Mimosa Morning
Rise and shine! End your weekend properly and start your morning off right with this relaxing hike and brunch. Led by local outdoor enthusiast and photographer Andy Kennedy, this gloriously scenic route begins with a quick ride on the Steamboat Gondola, and follows one of many beautiful trails in Steamboat. Be sure to bring your camera, as Andy will guide you along aspen groves and rocky outcrops, stopping along the way with photograph suggestions and sharing in local lore. Following the hike, relax and unwind on the beautiful deck at Thunderhead Lodge while enjoying a delicious brunch and mimosas – a wonderful way to end the your stay in Steamboat.
