The Foundry Treatment Center provides an opportunity for lasting recovery through an integrative body, mind and spirit treatment program. Comfortably located in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Steamboat Springs, The Foundry provides a safe and natural setting that encourages instinctive growth for the individual as they forge a new life in their own vision.
The course takes place on a mix of trail and road that is guaranteed fun for the whole family. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged! Leashed dogs are welcome to join too. There will be homemade Halloween treats after the race as well as fun for the whole family…bobbing for apples, face painting and games.
Distance: 5k run/walk
Course Description: Start at Soda Creek Elementary, wind through colorful and spooky Butcher Knife Creek, head up Spring Creek and turn around at the pond for a nice out and back race. Watch out for zombies and goblins on the course.

The Steamboat Springs Running Series has been an integral part of the Steamboat Springs community for 23 years. We are committed to hosting fun, competitive, affordable, family friendly events for runners and walkers of all ages, types and abilities. We are a 13 race series with events ranging from flat, fast, road 5k’s to rugged, mountain, ultra marathons. Each race in our series donates a portion of it’s proceeds to a local non-profit in the Yampa Valley.
