This 1-Bedroom + Den condominium has stupendous mountain views! The patio steps straight out to ski access trails! The well equipped and updated kitchen has granite counter tops and new cabinetry. There is seating for six at the dining room table and an additional four at the kitchen counter. The living area has a wood fireplace, and flat screen TV with a DVD player. The primary bedroom has a flat screen TV, an en-suite bathroom and mountain views. The studio area adjacent to the living room has mountain views.

Great skiing location.

Great for a ski weekend for 2-3. Easy access to slopes. Ski in and out, plus very useful shuttle from base. Checking in and out a breeze. Would rent again. Can sleep 4-5, but pretty crowded as only one bedroom - twin beds pictured are in common space that can be separated by curtain. We were fine with that, but some might not be.

The rental unit was very nice, and we enjoyed our stay. It would be nice if the kitchen had some more basics (Pam, etc.). Also, it would be nice if there was more than one outside chair, and possibly one that was little newer. The rest of the decor and furniture was good, and the unit was great for our purpose. All of the staff we dealt with were great; they checked in on us to make sure things were ok and responded quickly to questions. The only downside is that we experienced a water leak (presumably from the unit or pipes above this unit) which left us with a wet carpet and wet clothing in the closet. I know things like that happen, but it doesn't lessen the impact on our vacation. Maintenance did respond quickly, but that didn't help alleviate the effects.

Great location right off the slope, with ability to ski out the back door to the runs. Accomodated our group of 5 very well, couch bed was to uncomfortable for the poor guy that drew that spot. Other than that fantastic stay.

I've been to Steamboat for several seasons now and together with Steamboat resort, Mountain Resorts has never let me down. They provide excellent accommodations and services at moderate prices and they clearly stand behind their product. The personnel are courteous and helpful. Storm Meadows is not luxury but it is nice, clean and highly functional. It is truly a ski in/ski out property but the snow cover has to be reasonably good in order to be able to ski the access trail. I've stayed here with my children and they have to be advanced beginners to ski the trail without help. Otherwise I need to be there to make sure they are safe. The pool/hot tub/spa facilities are very nice, clean, and well maintained. The shuttle service is very good and the drivers tend to be friendly and willing to help. The one significant disadvantage of Storm Meadows is that it is distant from the base and away from the hustle and bustle of the base village. For me this is somewhat of an advantage as I like it to be quiet when getting my kids to sleep. Car is not necessary with the shuttle service as good as it is but it can be a nice convenience. Overall I've had multiple good experiences over several seasons at this property and at Steamboat and highly recommend it to any family.
