Ski-in/Ski-out

This well appointed corner two bedroom condominium has breath taking mountain and valley views and a large wrap around deck. There are nine panels of sliding glass that give this corner unit the feel of a penthouse. Many recent upgrades include rich wood trim and high quality furniture. The well equipped kitchen has a nice cook book collection as well as a large crock pot. There is seating for six at the dining room table. The living area offers a flat screen TV, DVD player, a CD stereo and a queen size sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom and amazing views. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and offers french doors that provide the option to create a more open feeling for the living room.

With a prime up-slope location, the Storm Meadows Club Condominiums are just a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the ski area base and offer a quieter, lower-key ambiance. This more secluded setting features access trails that directly connect your convenient vacation rental with the nearby slopes. After a day of relishing Steamboat’s legendary powder, the Right-O-Way lower-mountain run connects directly to access trails that lead right to your accommodations. Complimentary winter-season shuttle service to the gondola, grocery store and downtown Steamboat Springs further enhance your convenience. Storm Meadows guests enjoy stunning mountain or Yampa Valley views from one of our studio, 1-bedroom, 1-bedroom-plus-studio or 2-bedroom condominiums. There is a hot tub on the premises of Storm Meadows Club A with views of the Yampa Valley that is open during winter months only. Guests of most Storm Meadows Club A condominiums are welcome to use the spa facility which features a complete fitness center with heated outdoor pool, two outdoor hot tubs, sauna, weight room and exercise equipment (see unit detail).

We really like this unit and this was our 3rd time in this unit. The bathrooms upgrades were wonderful especially the walk-in showers. Kitchen is lovely and the views with all the sliding doors just wonderful. The only things that could be better is lower beds and more outdoor patio furniture as with only two chairs out there we had to use a dining room chair. My mom couldn't even get in the queen bed as it was too high and had to sleep on the sofa sleeper. The picture on the TV seemed a little faded and we couldn't figure out how to correct this.

Weekend get away

Generally, the property was very nice. The one issue was the patio furniture. A couple of the chairs the seems were giving way so not able to use. Would have been nice to have a little table on the patio to sit our coffee/wine while we were enjoying the view. Otherwise, nice unit. Thanks!

Very responsive management. Great quiet location perfect size for two people. Only complaint carpet looks dirty but is just very worn. Would be hard to keep nice when people wear ski boots in. Would go back again.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July and birthday in Steamboat. The condo offered amazing views of the mountain, valley and fireworks. It was a bit tighter than we imagined but it was a great location. We enjoyed hiking, boating, tubing, the alpine slide and a lot of different restaurants. We hope to return next year.

My sister in law and I loved the view and the fireplace. We were very comfortable all week. But the ski access trails are a problem. Going out isn’t bad (polling in one stretch but otherwise doable) but coming back is awful — uphill almost all the way. I’m 72 so I want to use up my energy on the slopes, not the access trails!

Beautiful views in this unit as advertised. I don’t think they could get much better. We utilized the ski in/out and the hot tub. Bed sheets and carpet could use a refresh in this unit as they are getting “tired.”

Felt like royalty

Condo had a corner view of the whole mountain, could sit and watch the night skiing next to the fireplace. Ski in ski out but the shuttle service equally convienent and quickly responded to every need, made you feel like royalty. Everyone was super friendly. Stayed at Storm Meadows before but this place was special.

Nice condo

Front desk was extremely polite and provided us with a weekend forecast, a list of events and things to do while in Steamboat and coupons to use in town. This condo was beautifully maintained and clean. All of the kitchen utensils that we could ever need were available at our fingertips. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and met our families needs. The view(s) were AMAZING and it really enhanced our stay. Will stay here again! The only downside is that upon checkin, we were told that we did not have a pool, just 2 hot tubs. On our last day there one of the residents advised us that we could have used the community pool the entire weekend.....

We stayed in the summer and absolutely loved the views, pool access, close location to everything we needed. The wrap around balcony was a much appreciated bonus. We stayed with our 4 children (10 and under) and had plenty of room to sleep comfortably. We were also happy to find everything we needed to make meals. Great place!!

Fantastic Ski In/Out Corner Unit with East & South Facing

Short Version: Would we rent it again? Yes! Why not excellent rating-ski in/out was a bit challenging & no way to really walk any where, but Mountain Resorts (MR) is amazing, especially when Dave is driving :-) Long Version: The view alone is worth it! The left floor to ceiling windows/sliding glass doors look up the mountain and sunrise, with a wraparound balcony, which we used more than you would think in February & It was nice to sit out there with the sun in your face, watching skiers come down & super aerobic people walking up in the early morning hours. The right windows/balcony look over the base area & the valley. We feel really fortunate to have been able to travel back to Steamboat for the 2nd year in a row with our 4 family & my parents, so the corner unit was icing on the cake. We worked with MR again, & they were very helpful in finding a reasonably priced 2 BR w/ pull out couch for my 2 daughters (12 & 10). The MR agent managed our expectations well by telling us that Storm Meadows is an older complex, & from our experience last year & other friends that have used MR, we knew that the MR team does a great job maintaining their units. This year we also wanted to try ski in/out, so we could easily come in for lunch every day, & we are now converted. It was just easier to manage different levels of skiers & desires to ski after lunch. I particularly enjoyed getting inside @ lunch w/o the crowds, taking off all ski stuff, taking a power nap, & heading out for a couple of hours in the afternoon. If we are fortunate enough to be able to go back next year, we plan to inquire about a unit that is ski in/out and has access to a walking path to the base area. Walking access is at a premium in our family now that my mom says she is done skiing @ 65. One other small expectation management item - toilet seats are small/round kind w/o power flush. Tmi? Well, these details are increasingly important as we age :-) Hope this helps! Happy trails!

Loved the fact that we had views from two sides of the condo! Also a great location, although "ski in" was a bit difficult. Would be nice to have a "moving walk-way" to make it a bit easier to go up hill. Really liked the free shuttle service offered, next time I stay at Mountain Resorts I wouldn't rent a car.

Home away from home

We have stayed in this unit for 6 years. It is a great corner unit with views of the mountain and the valley. They have updated the electronics recently. Great in the winter, ski in/ski out. Has a locker for the skis (the locker room was also redone). 2 bedrooms have plenty of space (was formally a 1 bedroom with a loft). Have access to the pool/hot tub/ fitness area across the street or there is a hot tub on the premises with a great view. The only thing I would like to see is an update in the kitchen utensils. Mountain Resorts helped take care of every other need including shuttles to grocery, town, or where ever you needed to go. This unit is like a second home when we get there.
