Ski Trail Condominiums
How long should it take to access the magnificent slopes of the Steamboat Ski Area? At Ski Trail, the answer is another question: How long does it take to step outside? At Ski Trail, all that separates you from the slopes is a short and sweet access path connecting an easy lower-mountain ski run and the Ski Trail parking area. In the morning, make a few steps across the parking lot, hop onto your skis or snowboard, and effortlessly glide down to the Steamboat gondola or other base area lifts to begin another day of relishing Steamboat’s legendary powder. At day’s end, ski or snowboard under the gondola to the Stampede run, make a quick left onto your access path, and you’re at Ski Trail, where a large outdoor hot tub awaits to soothe your muscles under sunset-hued skies. Among the very few ski-in/ski-out Steamboat lodging options offering economy rates, Ski Trail provides unbeatable ski area access underneath the gondola and one of the absolute best lodging values on the mountain. During summer, bring a mountain bike onto the gondola or enjoy an easy stroll along the Steamboat Ski Area promenade and the refreshing Rocky Mountain stream that flows through the base area, where summer activities and events such as free concerts and art exhibits enhance Steamboat Springs’ splendid summertime surroundings.

We walked across the parking lot and skied right down to the Gondola. Jacuzzi is right outside the unit. Everything was very clean

It is very dated and needs some upgrades to be honest. The TV was awful, only a small number of Channels and no way to use Netflix or any other service. The location is amazing!

Outdated decor and design, wonderful location and setup for skiing. Decent kitchen utensils and necessities, well stocked, but uncomfortable bed & pillows.

We had a lovely stay at the Ski Trails Condo! The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. Quiet--no noise from neighboring units and super easy access to the slopes. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The property was clean and the location was stellar however I was very underwhelmed with a few things on the unit itself. I felt like for the price of our stay, the unit needs to have some upgrades and I felt like the VRBO add was a bit misleading. The finishes are very outdated which is not a problem for me, but at a minimum there should be an HDTV in the unit and the internet access should work, it didn't. The other huge challange we had was making breakfast in the morning. One of the burners would either go 100% on or not work at all. I nearly burned down the place (partially kidding) with a grease fire making bacon...the stove top had no adjustment, either all on or all off. Luckily I tried one of the small burners and it worked OK, but not before filling the entire unit with grease smoke. Again, I think the VRBO add was misleading and for the price of the unit, I was expecting HDTV, working internet and a stove that worked. I do think the management company was very nice, professional and helpful. Everyone we talked to from reservations, to checkout were great.

We thought for two people the space was great. The location most certainly was. The beds left much to be desired. Our place was quiet and the hot tub was very good.
